i saw it i saw that other chick literally pull you off of her
i saw her having to make you aware of my existence
i am aware of what you have said about me
and only weeks before you told me how much i meant to you
and how much you like me
weeks before you used the "L" word
weeks before i fell head over heels

and you act like i'm blind
you act like you being that late alone wasn't enough
you waved goodbye to whoever else was with you two
you had to be pulled off of her

you said you'd never lie
but i guess you never said you wouldn't hurt me
so i guess i shouldn't be surprised
it doesn't count as a lie if you never said you wouldn't do something

i couldn't say that to you in the car
im not sure that i could have looked at you and said this
